Yes, EPSD requires all businesses involved in food preparation to install an exterior FOG interceptor. Click on NOTICES above then scroll down to "Things you should know." Once there, you may click on the View more Info button beneath Fats, Oils & Grease (FOG) Interceptor for additional details.

Permit info may be found on our Rules and Regulations page. If after reviewing that page, questions remain, do not hesitate to call.

EPSD has numerous remittance options.
Quarterly withdrawal via ACH draft from a preferred checking or savings account is the sole automated payment option: because it ensures timely remittance, District encourages utilization by offering the service free of charge. For more information, click the FORMS dropdown above then choose ACH.
If remittance must mail, please do so to: PO BOX 722 ESTES PARK CO 80517-0722.
The administrative office accepts cash, check, money order or cashier check in person at: 1201 GRAVES AVE STE A (do not mail payments here - see mailing address immediately above). For your convenience, non-cash remittance may securely drop in the slot found on the exterior office wall west/left of the front door at any time - no staple, clip, tape or envelope required.
For a 3.5% convenience fee, District accepts plastic (credit or debit) in person or via phone along with mobile (Apple, Google or Samsung) in person only.
At this time, District has no online sewer account access nor payment option.

In 2022, EPSD user rates fell within the average range when compared to other Colorado wastewater districts. During annual rate hearings, Directors and staff pay considerable attention to impending restrictions and regulations that Colorado Department of Health and the Environmental Protection Agency will impose. District must consider the significant cost to meet such requirements during every rate discussion: we commit to making responsible decisions by thoroughly reviewing all available options in order to limit ratepayer impact.
